Sinicline CEO Attended YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund Dinner


Sinicline CEO Wendy Gong and sales director Karen Shu Attended YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund’s 80th annual Geoffrey Beene National Scholarship Awards Dinner on Thursday, January 12 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. Over 1,300 people attended the event, which raised over $3.5 million for the organization. Sinicline support the Fashion Scholarship Fund with a $10,000 contribution.


A record $1.3 million in scholarships was given to participating students from more than 50 colleges and universities. For the first time in the organization’s history, a $35,000 scholarship was awarded – to Vivian Cooper of Philadelphia University. Three other finalists received $30,000 scholarships, and four finalists received $10,000 scholarships.

The YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund has awarded over $10 million in scholarships to thousands of talented students interested in entering the fashion and retail industry, and placed 700+ scholars into internship positions with prominent companies throughout our industry. The member colleges are expanded to 48 leading schools across the USA in order to attract the best students in fields of design, merchandising, business and liberal arts.

The misson of YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund is to create consistent platforms that engage the best and the brightest students who are interested in joining the world of fashion. If you are a college student currently enrolled in a fashion related program at one of the member schools, you may be eligible to apply for a YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund scholarship.

Company CEO Wendy realized this and thought we should do something to support the talented students who are interested in joining the world of fashion. We donated $10,000 to YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund.
